Working on finishing the Pilates for Menopause manual and it is bringing back so many memories. Most of the exercises created for this program were for my own body. During Menopause my adrenal glands failed, my hormones went wild and one of the side effects was to lose the ability to move. I slowly regained my skills but had to take it very slow. It taught me a huge lesson. Of all the things I thought age might bring, losing the ability to move was NOT one of them. Thankfully, I am now BETTER than I have ever been before and getting better everyday. This exercise taught me to walk with ease again.
